Through intricate, glittering recordings exploding with virtuosic guitar solos, dynamic bass lines and complex rhythms, the band wages successful wars against life’s haunting shadows.
Beauty Lies was born in 2009 when Panayotis was searching for a singer with a mighty voice to help him fully express the complex emotions behind his own music, which articulated the story of a series of personal challenges he had overcome. He was introduced to Casta , whose vocal dexterity and four-octave range was able to illuminate the emotional depth of his work, and together they went into the studio to begin creating the group’s debut EP. The name “Beauty Lies” comes from one of the band’s songs and also captures the philosophy behind the project.
The ensemble’s first EP, [BURN THE PAST] pushes the boundaries of hard rock and heavy metal music and delivers the message that goodness still reigns, even in a relentless and sometimes bleak world. Beauty Lies is currently working on a video for the title track song “Burn the Past” and planning future live performances in support of the EP release.
